Running Wires Under the Gas Tank?

The gas tank is easy to take completely off on 2009 and newer.
Because there is only a quick coupler fuel line now, not a cross over in front like in the past years.
Then there is a plastic tray to lay your wires in and not have to worry about pitching the wires.
I am neither patient, a mechanic nor can I see worth a damn and I have done it.
I am getting better about being patient though.
