Default LED Help 98 Road King

Hello all, my neighbor has a 98 Road King, he put on an LED tail light and purchased the disc style LED blinkers (plug in the original light socket) for the back w/connector to make them running / break lights. The tail light works great, but the blinkers come on as running / break lights but won't flash as blinkers. Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Dan

the turn signal system needs to "see" a certain resistance- and was designed for conventional light bulbs.

a switch to LEDS requires a "load equaliser".
check custom dynamics, or badlands.

year and model have to be correct

#1 Original factory rear blinkers for that era are set-up to be off while bike is running and then only light when blinker or hazard is activated...The base of original bulb and socket has only one tit/contact not two...bulb had one filament
#2 Is bike still factory? or did someone complete a common alteration/change of installing front turn signal housing in the rear so they could use dual filament bulbs and then have either running OR brake lights and blinkers.
*what does inside of socket look like?
