Riding home from MI and Neutral light started to flash and THEN!! all the lights on that little bar started to flicker 06SG. Just passin on that when I got home took Bat wing apart and where this wire loom passed over the top of my metal radio housing it had worn all insulation off of the wires. Good elactrical tape job and I was good to go.

 

Check the bolts that hold the exhaust hanger to the transmission. Mine worked loose and allowed the gearset to move just enough make the light flicker. Found mine by accident when I swaped the exhaust, but I had already bought a new neutral switch.
