Bought my 07 Road King Police used bout a month ago. It has the mounting hardware for a switchblade style windshield, but no shield. The previous owner musta kept it or something. Who knows? Anywho. So not needing the hardware, what suggestions can you guys make for a detach windshield for me? Manufacturer, size, etc, etc. I wanna see what your opinions are and make sure I get the right one. I am a noob Harley rider and don't know bout such things (yet). You can see a pic of my ride in my signature if that helps with any ideas. Really appreciate any input. Thanks.

 

Sorry bout the double post. This is the thread I wanna keep for your input. Appreciated. Need to clarify too. I have the hardware on the forks. So I'll need shield and hardware on the shield too. Always learning. :-)

Maybe you could contact Long Ride Shields, Fastaire, Freedom Shields or one of the other windshield manufacturers to see if they could help you out.
