I got what will likely amount to my last good ride in of the year over the past weekend. 500+ miles throughout the hills of SE Ohio, WV and KY. The colors this time of year are amazing in this part of the country, and the weather could not have been better.
On Sunday, I went on the annual Cop Ride in Huntington, WV. It's a charity event to raise cash for gifts and a Christmas party for area under privileged children. There must have been over a mile of bikes, on a 110 mile ride with full police escort/road blocks so we never had to stop for lights or stop signs, etc..... It really was a lot of fun, and I would encourage anyone in the area to try to do it next year. It's on my new list of annual rides.
