2008 RG 49,250 mi stock.
Last Tue. morning going to work, about 3 minutes into the ride my Batt & Low Fuel light came on (gas was over half full) on looked at the Volt meter it showed about 11.75. I slowed and turned around then the idiot lights went off the volt meter was at 14, so I turned around again and rode to work. 50 Mi.and everything seems fine. Was that a warning that my stator or ECM is going bad?

Today at the end of a 150mi ride getting off the interstate at the bottom of the ramp the engine quit. It started right backup like no problem. Then I notice the Speed o and odomator aren't working.

It seems since I hit 40K with this thing it's falling apart. Any Ideas or what to look at?

 

Had issues on my 02UC like you describe. I would lean toward stator. I have 20K on mine and have installed 3 stators so far. BUT an electrical prob could be most any Fing thing. Hope you get it sorted out.

Check your grounds from battery and where it connects to frame. Sounds like a loose cable to me IMO.

 

I just got done checking every connection I could get to without tearing into things. Didn't find anything.

 

I've heard from a couple of guys that it sounds like a connection and not a Stator problem.
