Default Transform and Roll Out!

Well, after a month and a half on the lift I finally got everything in and put together right. Wheels, fork legs, trees and brakes were the mods this time. I am sure there will be more, but no time soon. For those who had questions about using the trike trees to rake your glide for a 23, I have some advice. They would be perfect for a street glide but do not work so good with road glide. After numerous trials and errors... the fairing mount, inner fairing and instrument nacelle all pose problems for this application. At the end of the day I ditched the trike trees in favor of a set from kewl metal which work perfectly. Also I dropped one rotor and went with single 13" floating with 6 piston caliper, I have abs. I cant lie and say there is no differnce But, the difference is in the initial bite, not stopping power. After just a little time in the saddle I had over come that sensation and didnt give it any more thouht. If anyone is going to attempt any of this feel free to shoot a pm and I will help in anyway I can. I had the thing apart and back together so many times before it was right, I am feeling like a pro. Oh, I will be putting the set of trike trees that I bought up for sale in the classifieds for anyone who is interested.

So, you didnt have to cut the neck? That puppy looks good as hell. Does it feel heavier with the 23 up front? Im in the market for a RG since I sold my Deluxe, Gonna run either a 23 or 26. I know that with a 26 I would have to cut the neck. But, with the way your 23 looks, I may end up going that route.

Thanks for all the compliments guys. It felt so good when I torqued that final bolt. Only had to pay the stealership to bleed the abs. CountryD, I responded to your pm.
