If I had to do it over again or had ANY Street Glide other than a 2010, I would have went with the Fuel Moto. I still might down the road. The only reason I went with the V&H is that it was a better deal than buying all the other chrome, brackets, and pipes since my 2010 came stock with a 2:1 and didn't have any hardware for a left pipe (only year HD did that). The PDs can drag on right hand turns. They do flow well though, and since I use a PCV my O2 sensors are not plugged in. I know they did change the O2 location from 2009 to 2010, not sure if they have moved them again since then.

Thanks for the visual, do you have a similar chart showing the same stock pipe with and without a cat. I personally don't need convinced, but most folks here tend to value your input as the gospel, so you could lay this foolish argument to rest, at least for this week. I don't have any experience with the stock 2:1:2 pipe, but if it is like my stock 2:1 then the outlets will be choked down about an 1/8" compared to your SS pipe, that alone would explain the 5 HP/TQ difference.

There are definitely differences in the pipes. Our Jackpot head pipes are constructed completely from 304 stainless while the others are mild steel. Jackpot head pipes carry a Lifetime Warranty, V&H offers a 90 day warranty and I do not know on the other. Our pipe also has both 12mm and 18mm bungs which will support factory and aftermarket wideband sensors and we include plugs for them as well. The main difference performance wise in the collector, the Jackpot pipe uses a true merge collector, our pipes are completely CNC formed which not only will flow better as there are less joints and welds, but it allows us to use only 5 sections of tubing instead of many more sections welded together. The V&H pipe uses a collector which is actually 2 pieces of sheet metal which are stamped and are welded around the outside, but it is a pretty good pipe for the money considering it comes with heat shields and performs as advertised.

Here is a test we did with our 2011 Road King 103" completely stock. This chart compares the stock catalyst head pipe (Run 1 green trace), a stock non-catalyst pipe (Run 2 red trace), and the Jackpot 2/1/2 stainless head pipe (Run 3 blue trace). These were back to back tests done on the same day, each test was conducted at a 200 degree ET, and IAT was 110 degrees.

While the differences are already apparent on the completely stock bike, they become even more significant with intake, mufflers and tuning.

Re: the chart....Is the upper run (at 80hp or so) with dyno tuning, pipes, mufflers, etc?

So performance head pipe vs. stock is roughly 4-5rwhp and 4-5ftrwtq UN-tuned and with stock?? mufflers?

Jamie's already explained the deal with the Jackpot pipe. I can tell you from firsthand experience that there's almost no seat-of-the-pants difference between the Fatcat and the Jackpot.

The Fullsac uses a stepped design. The CVO forum's pretty big on this pipe. It was a non-starter for me, as I ride year-round, road salt be damned, and I wanted a stainless steel pipe with a lifetime warranty.

The V&H Power Duals, aside from limiting cornering clearance (and that's a real issue for me), don't have enough separation between the O2 sensors, and allow crosstalk. V&H is aware of the problem and doesn't care. Then there's the general construction that's shown in Jamie's photos.

Edited to add - The Jackpot and the Fullsac headers were designed by riders and tuners, the V&H was mass-produced by a large company. Steve and Jamie are both active on several forums and get direct feedback from their customers, who can you talk to at V&H? Aside from the fact that I think the Jackpot is a superior pipe, Jamie's service is second to none.

Jamies pipe is well done and works well. The other part of the equation is muffler selection. That can make or break the results.

I will say that V&H provided good tech support for me when I was asking about headers and using the Thundermax.

I don't doubt the cornering clearnace, it's limited with the Dresser Duals too.
I have heard good things about the Pro Pipe and will also say their fitment and quality is very good.

I ended up doing an '09 Header with the T-Max so no worries with crosstalk with those.
