Default Battery Replacement Poll

For those who have replaced their stock HD battery.

How many have replaced with an HD Battery?
How many have replaced with an after market battery?

By the time I need to replace it, its pretty much completely gone, so at that point I have to just go to the closest dealer for an OEM replacement.

Harley batteries always work well for years to come, but are somewhat more pricey than aftermarket...

I bought one from the company that makes Harley batteries. Much lower priced.

1 time with a Ultima Battery and the other 2 times HD replacement.

I did not see any difference with the Ultima over the HD and its easier to find a HD Dealer when I needed it.

I have literally replaced hundreds of batteries, and I have concluded that HD OEM batteries just last the best. I got seven years out of my stock Dyna battery before replacing it. Now, granted, I keep my bikes on a tender when they are not getting ridden daily, but thats just smart money. A battery tender is cheaper than a battery no matter how you look at it.
