Got the headlight trim, front turn signals and the piece under the headlight done the other day. Plus my girlfriend surprised me with smoked turn signals and a smoked lay down taillight. Gotta love a girl that works at a Harley dealer. Oh and I chopped up the license plate bracket. It sits a lot more flush with the rear fender and has a little curve to it. Hard to tell by the pictures but it's cold out so only cell pictures.
One trick I learned with my Dyna. Smoked turn signals look better when you paint inside the housing black. Give's it a darker look.
Outlaw, bike looks amazing! I powdercoated the front end of my 06 X last winter and this winter was planing on doing the rest. Now seeing the pics of yours I'm ready to tear the bike down! The only difference for me though is I want to get rid of the license plate mount across the rear fender to try and clean it up a little. Otherwise it I think we are on the same wave length with all the black.

I'm getting ready to do the lowers, cow bells and engine guard very soon. I wanted to move the license plate also but to many scratches under the plate. So it's gonna have to stay there for now. I'm very pleased with what I have do so far and can't wait till it's over. Next is finding a White Hot Denim SG for the GF and then I get to start all over HAHAHAHA.
that awesome another Glide for the Girl! and I'm not talking about moving the actual plate I'm removing the bar that crosses the fender from the two strut towers(?) That bar was used on the old RK's and EGC's as a license plate mount and when they designed the SG they moved the plate but didn't dispose of that stupid bar. I think it cleans up the rear fender with minimal amount of cost. I've spoken to a few mechincs in the local shops by me and have been told that this will not affect handling in any way and it was just cosemetic. I guess we'll find out soon when I take it off! There is a thread on here under RE: Rear grab rail/licence plate mount that discusses this and has some pictures of bikes that have it removed.

Ah I see. I was gonna remove it but I'm gonna wait till the stretched fender gets installed. I like the look of the bar and I like the look with no bar so I'm torn LOL. Only time will tell with what I'm really gonna do. The more I sit in this warm house/Garage the more my mind thinks of ****.
I've been painting bikes in my garage for 40 years. I've never seen anything like this product. If ya want to put a good clear over your new paint, here is a true 2 part epoxy clear that stands up to anything:
There is a puncture valve on the bottom of the can that, when pressed, releases the activator into the can. Once mixed, you have less than 24 hours to use. This stuff will set up in the can!
