when you try to start it and nothing happens, do the turn signals start flashing? If they are your fob need new battery. Anytime you try to start your bike without the fob or if the battery in the fob is dead it will disable the starter system and flash the turn signals to indicate someone is trying to steal it.

Do you not have a PIN set?

Everyone with a FOB, if you do not have a PIN set, go do it now !!

I'm betting he doesn't know what the PIN is.

It's a bypass sequence if your keyfob stops working.

After you get a new battery in your fob do this, in order shown, to set a bypass code:

  • With fob present: select an 5 digit number (1-9) pin

  • Turn key to: ignition-off-ignition-off-ignition

  • Press left turn signal switch 3 times

  • Press right turn signal switch 1 time and release

  • Enter first digit of a new PIN by pressing left signal switch until the new number you want is shown ( on your odometer)

  • Press right turn signal switch 1 time and release

  • Repeat steps 5 & 6 until all numbers are replace with the new number

  • Before the module rearms turn the ignition key to OFF
