What is the easiest way to hook one up to my 09 Ultra Classic? Trying to keep from pulling my seat off all the time. Cig lighter?

Pigtail. Install once, then plug tender in when needed

 

Pull the seat, put a couple leads on the battery and run them out to the side. Then you can plug the bike in without pulling the seat.

The HD battery tender comes with a set.

If you don't have a set, you can go to AutoZone or some similar auto parts place, go to the "trailer wiring" section and get a two wire flat plug and make your own.

My 2010 Ultra came with one installed. The pigtail is hanging down by the tranny on the right side. I would check there before you buy one you might already have one installed.

 

What does it connect to, so I know what i'm looking for?

 

Deltran Battery Tender comes with the battery leads and works great never have to pull my seat just plug it in and charge her up! Cost around $69.00

 

my 2008 flhrc came with the pigtail already installed i bought a battry tender jr . and installed the pigtail that came with it on the FXR3 . VERY handy charge without taking seat off.

 

I've heard this alot. I expected my 2011 Ultra Ltd to have one when I bought it based on that but nope. Had to buy my own. Worthwhile investment btw.

 

I just go for a ride to keep her charged.
