By Accident I ...opened my wifes trunk today and saw a Craftsman bike jack,of course I checked it out and its the yellow one.Is this a good jack for my RKC?I'm going to be pissed if she got it for our sons mountain bike.....
That's a good jack. I have the RED model and love it. Many more like the Yellow Model even better. They say it gets Lower to get under the bike. Most that have it love it.
Now, repeat after me.......
"I never saw that yellow Jack.......I never saw that yellow Jack"
... great jack....i love "accidentally" findin stuff...i check the history on all the computers, trunks, closets, and under stuff...she's not real good at hidin things...you can tell she never smoked pot as a kid [:-]
Same here. Wife and I went grocery shopping today and when I opened the trunk to put the grocery's away there it was covered with a blanket. It's the red one. I don't have the heart to say hey I said the yellow one. That's what gift reciepts are for, taking it back and getting the one you really want. I wonder how the red one would fit under the street Glide, it might be worth keeping. it looks heavy duty.

Come on man, wheres the fun in that? Wouldnt you rather be surprised?
I usually get my own xmas presents - wife has no idea what I need. She snags them when they arrive and wraps them up. One way of getting what you want.
I have a lift as well - seldom use it (even for changing oil).
In case you have trouble getting the red one under your bike, all you have to do is roll your rear tire up on a 2X4 and the jack will go under no problem. I find that for home use, the yellow one is not worth the extra 100 bucks or so. The yellow one is the better jack, but it's just a jack ya know. She did good. Spend the rest on more chrome....
And like the post above. After the excitement is over, you'll use it five times and then it will sit in the corner of your garage taking up space. I rarely use mine anymore either...
