If you are concerned about the Aux input you can send your Harmon Kardon off to Iron Cross Audio and have them add a rear auxiliary input... Problem solved.

Funny you asked about the IPod Touch. I actually had a I phone 3GS sitting around and just used that verses going out to buy the Touch. But it has turned some heads over here in Maryland for sure. A lot of folks asking about it. One good thing I don't have to take it out to download music if I don't want to. As long as I have a WiFi connection or hotspot I'm good.

Hell's Foundry's patent pending DashLink and Sinister's product are two very different items.
DashLink is a complete replacement console with an integrated dock (charging and audio output) for iPhone and iPod touch. Sinister supplies an insert that mounts into your OE console after modification to that console. That means when you sell your bike, you either sell it with their product installed, buy another console to replace it, or sell it with a hacked console.
DashLink is a complete docking station, developed using Apple product development standards and tested by a third party lab to perform to them, then submitted to Apple for final approval. Sinister doesn't.
DashLink allows convenient mounting and dismounting of your iDevice at will. Sinister is a semi-permanent mount, requiring disassembly of the product to remove the iDevice.

I hope this helps clarify what are very significant differences.

Derik is there any plans of making the Dashlink compatible with the HDPDPLUS? I don't think it would be to difficult to make it so you could use their cable and your dash?
