I haven't experienced both, but I chose the Prime Apes based on their 15% off for HDForum members (turned out to be about $100 off because I bought cables and extended wires too) and they were at my house in about a week. Have heard too many horror stories about shipping times with Monkey Bars. Seems like for every story they got there quickly, there is two stories about how long they took. For me they both are very substitutable products and I am very satisfied with my purchase, and am in no way knocking Bagger Nation products as they make some killer stuff.
How did you get the 15% off and what was the total with the cables ...
About to pull the trigger so checking everything out
hey shutterbug bars look great. what size are those and can you see well using your stock fairing mirrors?
These are 13". La choppers is working on other sizes at the moment and I think a 10" is in the works as I type.
I can see ok with stock mirrors. If I wear a jacket I may have to raise an elbow or duck down slightly to get a full view.
I gotta say though, this is best mod to my bike I've done so far. Everyone comments on these bars and they feel great going down the road. Call chuckie from la choppers and he can give your specifics on different size bar options they are working on.
has any used the discount code lately? I just tried and it must only be good for a certain time period. I'm wanting to order the 13" prime apes and cables
