Biketronics all the way. Top quality products, lifetime warranty and excellent customer service. Been using their products for years and they never disappoint.
I have a Biketronics kit on my bike and its fantastic. I had a couple problems later on, both of which I had caused, and Biketronics (and this forum) gave me the info I needed to get it back right. They are an outstanding company. I really enjoy having a stereo on my bike.
I think that's the big difference between the two- the BT allows you to keep the AVC, plus they sell an optional splash guard, whereas HW doesn't.
The BT has you use your stock stereo cradle I think, but the HW gives you a new one. Not sure if there is anything wrong with the stock cradle that would make the HW one desirable- I'd like to know that myself.
from what i can tell it looks like the hawg wired mount is more like a factory fit into the inner fairing, and the biketronics kit is more like putting an aftermarket radio in a vehicle.
does anyone know if the biketronics spashgaurd will work with the hawgwired mount kit?
