Jesus! Go big or go home!

Are you planning on pulling a house with that combo?

Hey BH - I know you're not into the numbers game, but check out the Latus Motors website. They have a lot of dyno charts for 120" motors. You can at least get a feel for the type of curve certain parts will give you. I think they even offer a buy back program for your 88" motor.

Good luck.

A 155" RK...big deal...seems kinda senseless. But hey, it's your sense and cash...not even the least bit impressed. Have fun rebuilding it when the grenade goes off! What impresses me is a guy that can build a motor himself, not spend a fortune, AND have power, decent fuel economy, & a reliable, rideable bagger in the end. On the other hand a high comp, big inch, race motor is cool...on a drag strip...where it really matters...but on a TC bagger? Get real!

That's a drastic upgrade, why not just trade her for a SE CVO 110...??
I think you can go to to 130 or so...

Or just do the turbo thing to the Datona, pump it to 250hp, now that's a ride...

Just kidding you BH, I think the Datons is great like it is...
but in some of those pics, it is a bit small for you

Instead of doing a 98" high comp build this winter, what the hell, might as well replace the entire friggin' drivetrain & be done with it in one shot. Here is the combo I am currently considering:

Jims 120" @ 11:1, twin plug heads, automatic comp releases
Zipper's 54mm throttle body w/ Thundermax EFI & Autotune
Baker 6
Barnett Scorpion clutch
Compufire Gen III starter

This combo should give me a rockin' yet reliable 2-up tourer. Important to keep the appearance as close to stock as possible. Any advice, suggestions or recommendations on alternate components would be welcome. Cam choice is tough & I have a few mind. Already have a buyer waiting for my stock drivetrain if I decide to pull this "heavy" pin. Phil, are ya out there, brother?
If you want to keep the appearance as close to stock as possible, why don't ya pull those orange stripes off. That'll make it look stock.LOL
