I love my Woody's Fairing. Have been using it for a year and am completely happy. Great service, great product. No complaints about vibration or rattling.

I am curious why the new "XL" fairing by reckless is 1300 bucks...and you have to paint it yourself...not gelcoated....is it really 500 bucks better than the other one? If so what makes it better? (I am e-mailing reckless with this question...i willpost the results if\when I get an answer.)

what kind of quality is the gelcoat finish....is it good enough with some wax or it is a painted fairing the way to go?

Here's the thread link for more pics of the inside: https://www.hdforums.com/forum/touri...nedd-help.html.

Can anyone go into detail on how the Reckless fairing is mounted to a Road King? I'm worried my Custom Touring Bullet Signals might interfere with the mounting.

I will do a detailed "RECKLESS" install thread....I ordered one 6 days ago and it arrives Monday...Not bad from Tenn to NY.

I believe you will have to move your turn signals....the Reckless fairing utilizes the quick release windshield mounts on the RK....passing lamps need to be moved forward a bit but other than that its pretty straight forward.

I will post an honest un-biased opinion about the Reckless....just because I bought one, I will not tell you "Its great for the money" ...if I open the box and its CRAP....it will get sent back Monday afternoon...

I bought it on E-bay with a "BEST OFFER" bid of $310 +50 to ship....

I got the bare, 6x9 model because of the speaker options. Keep an eye out for my thread because I will take lots of pictures from box opening to install...hopefully
