Default Perusing new products

Perusing the new products in the touring lineup on the HD website, only thing of interest to me would be the extended headset cords. I see they now sell a $30 kit/harness to keep the passing lamps on with high beams. Still a lot cheaper (reads $0) to do it the old fashioned way.

i saw a couple of interesting things, but nothing that would make me rush out to the dealership. did you see that cvo rear fender? a thousand bucks!? primed!!! ye gads. i haven't priced out the oem items separately, but i didn't think it was that much. and $269 for the 'premium' tool kit. maybe $50 from sears.

but the heel guard is interesting, my wife is always melting her boot heel on the exhaust. and i do like the extended running boards.

the cvo rear fender kit is nice, but might be cheaper to order the prices seperately

So you can buy their speaker lids fairly reasonable... But they're worthless unless you buy the Boom speaker kit in order to get the speaker grilles, gaskets, etc... Dumb! Doesn't work for a guy looking to run a different speaker other than Boom (4ohm).

The premium tool kit looks nice but not at $269!! Wondering what the SnapOn equivalent would run?

Nothing that really interests me in the new products.

Their space saver bags were cheaper than I thought they'd be.

I just paid 570.00 for a new front fender. Nothing special, just a stock paint replacement! And to top that off, it is 6 to 8 weeks out best case!

The speaker grilles, basket, and all of the parts used for the saddlebag speaker kit are available for separate purchase--that's what I did for the installation of some Rockford Fosgate 6x8 speakers.
