Winter Projects?
It seems almost every weekend here in New York is warm enough to ride. The only winter projects I've been able to do were to install a rear spoiler and a horn. Other longer-term projects might have to wait until next winter...
I am working small winter project... Mainly new bags and getting rid of the double bars on the supports. It's cold as can be here Germany right now, but hoping its gonna start to warm up soon.
I missed a bunch of riding over the last couple of weeks, but December and the first part of January was pretty crappy here, so I didn't miss a whole lot. Finished up this week on my winter mods, PYO 12" Monkey Bars, 30t trans pulley and a 107 build with ported heads and Woods TW8 cams.
Seems like Europe and the US Northwest got the bad weather this winter. I am simpathetic after last winter here. I'm not complaining about the weather. I'm always prepared. I put the bike away with a full tank, add some Sta-Bil (Marine Type) and connect the Battery Tender. Then I do it all over again the following Sunday.
Bought this in Aug '11... Did some winter mods the past couple of weeks...
Just installed the Tach today along w/ the Bag guardrails...
Wild Pig Mufflers went on last week...also installed Security Siren...
