Default trunk

Alright kids---am married to a cute, but short round lady---I know the 2007 FLHTC has the trunk farer back than the old ones, but would still like to know if the kits that are out there would move it back just a bit more---after being on a Wing for 2 years, just got use to more room----thanks

Kuryakyn makes a kit that will move the Tour Pack back an additional two inches.

used the Kuryakyn extender on my '07 UC. gave the wife quite a bit more room which she needed when I was using the backrest. Problem now is keeping her awake as she gets too comfortable.

Will that extender work if you have the docking kit instead of solid mount?

The extender works with the factory stock setup. You replace the u shaped bar with the extended version. I have read elsewhere on the forum that some have made other types of setups using homemade setups. It depends on your ability to do the work yourself. Do some searching here, tons of good info.

I made an extender kit for the docking kit for my 05, if you look under the tourpack you can see it. With the bracket and mounted to the rear holes it added 1.75 inches from stock.
