Hertz Titan II 6.5. Model BT471 (depending on the year of your bike.) That's what I have in mine. Have done a couple of upgrades since 1st Harley in 09, and Hertz is the best yet. Haven't heard the Polk, so I can't compare. Got mine from Biketronics, but don't know where you can get them cheaper. From what I understand, Biketronics sells online only. Hope it helps. (By the way, they'll come with a 6.5" adaptor to make them fit those 5.25" holes where the fairing speakers are now.)
yes sorry it a 2004 EG ,also i have the 6.5" Polks in it now if i buy the Hertz i have to use there Rings? I read that the Hertz 165s are good but dont know ,maybe someone who has had or has them can let me know if they are good? mabe compare to polk audio 6.5s..... thanks for your input Geezr.
I have the Hertz & Titan amp in my 2005 EGC. I ordered my amp & speakers from Rideshack. I'm driving them with the OEM radio. Fast delivery & the best price I could find.

WOW I purchased mine last year from there and that site has really changed since then. I have the 6.5's
I've had my Hertz for 2 years. They were the Biketronics BT451. Lifetime guarantee. One of them was blown & I sent them back. They replaced them with the new & improved BT 471. Their website will tell you just which ones to get, and they're pretty easy to talk to on the phone. If it looks somewhere, like one set has a tweeter, and one doesn't, maybe they make a component speaker? I got a coaxial so I didn't have to worry about taking out the air temp guage (or something like that) for a place to put the tweeter. Tweeter's in the middle of the speaker. The 6.5" adaptor comes in the box with the speakers. It just makes the "hole" bigger & can accomodate the 6.5 rather than the 5.25 size. (They're good quality speakers, and sound the best, of anything I've had yet.)
thanks for all the info on these speakers here is the website i have been looking at http://www.hertzaudiovideo.com/ i see you guys must be talking about the HCX165 and biketronics are calling them the titan 2s or bt 471 not really shure . it looks like them speakers on biketronics are the hybrid audio speakers not the heartz speakers correct me if im wrong... just want to get the right speakers.sorry for any confusion on my end.and ty for the help to all...
