My sister-in-law must really like me. She found out I was not pleased with the look of the plain chrome gas cap cover. She bought the gold/silver "Live to Ride, Ride to Live" cover for me. I took a picture with my phone. Install was so simple, I did not even need a cocktail. She is da bomb !!!! Now I owe her a ride on her next visit.

 

I have that gas cap cover, i like it.
i also have the live to ride fender tips. my previously enjoyed bike came with them .
back in the day they were about as cool as you could get .
seems the Pirate Police have declared them........

i don't give a **** about those guys . i'll keep them on till there cool again.

 

and I still wear Bell Bottoms...

 

Most people complain about their in-laws. It's great that you don't have reason to (in this area anyway). I do like that style of bling.

That was my first bling purchse too.Also got the chrome passenger foot board side covers

Something else simple cheap and highly recommended is to replace your front fender skirt

 

My old FB had all the "Live to Ride" stuff on it when I bought it. A/C cover, points cover, mirrors, etc. I stripped all of it off posthaste. Not for me.....

Now the sickness begins. Once you make your first mod it's a slippery slope that turns into an addiction. Pretty soon you'll find yourself in dark alleys dealing with chrome pushers. All or your money will go to support your habit and the only thing you'll be able to think about is when can you score your next fix.

There are support groups for the mod/bling addiction but this ain't it. We suffer from the same thing.

 

I have the Live to Ride air cleaner trim. My wife gave it to me for Christmas. I don't care if it is now "Uncool." I like the gold eagle and I like the sentiment. It's my only purely decorative mod (so far).
