I've been thinking of getting a Road Glide so I rented one yesterday to see if I liked it.
I noticed that that when ever the Sun was overhead, that mirror of a gas cap cover reflectedinto my eyes and was very annoying. This could be a major problem if it occurred over long periods say on a slab run.
I checked every catalog I have and there appears to be no non-chrome replacements available. Was hoping for a brushed or black finished lid but no such luck..
Has this been a problem for any of you guys and how did you deal with it ?
Honestly, I never noticed it much, but i wear sunglasses most times I am riding. I have also removed the stock cover and replaced with the one that has the Bar and Shield engraved but it is still chrome

Just kiddin' , I haven't noticed a problem like that yet (only 2,200 miles on it). Although, I have caught myself looking into it at stop lights thinking how cool I am
