MODS FINALLY DONE! (yes a pic too)
PC3 USB, (If I can use this anyone can, though the install is a pain)
Rush 3 1/2 slip-on's, 1.5 baffle (quite but loud if you get on them, I can't even think of what the 2.5 baffles would be like.)
Ness Stage 1 intake (was one of the few for a MMI EFI bike)
Khrome Werks 300505 bars (Dawg is right these are comfortable but I need to get new grips, any ideas? I hate my knurled ones)
SE adjustable pushrods (replaced with new, easy to install once I fully understood the process of matching the base circle / compression stroke.)
SE Cam plate upgrade (inspected)
HyLift Johnson lifters (these are stupid quiet)
Cometic gaskets
Woods TW6 cam (indy did the press for the cam plate, I already had these on hand)
Removed tour pak, (holy-shinky! this thing is heavy! feels like a new bike without hualing close to 40extra pounds around! Yes I actually weighed it all)
H-D Badlander seat (dropped me nice & low but might need a new shield next)
My thanks
goes out to Fuelmoto, Hillsidecycle, Forum members djl , dawg & anyone else who was nice enough to help me out.
I learned a lot about the bike & look forward to going up to 98' after this summer to better match up with the woods cam. Should (yes I said should) be done after that.
Yup there is a picture...
I swore then & there I would learn to do the work myself.

I don't begrudge anyone from making a living, and a mechanic needs to feed his family too, but charging 40 bucks for 5 minutes work (pressing your cams into the plate) is a perfect example of why I work on my own bikes.
One of the local dealers quoted a friend of mine 8 hours labor for a cam swap, if they went through the rocker boxes to re-use his solid pushrods. (5.5 hours if they used quickee pushrods). He brought his bike over to my house and we did it in an afternoon, going through the rocker boxes. If they would have quoted a reasonable labor cost, they would have gotten the job, but instead, they scared it away. And more significantly, having learned a little more about his bike, my friend is even more likely to pick up a wrench himself next time, rather than pick up a phone to call the mechanic.
Your scoot is looking badass, lets see a better pic of those bars.
