Don't let HD see this. They will start selling them for $100 for the bags and another $75 for the tour pack.

Good mod.
No they will be completely different. MOCO will put a little HD sticker on them which as we all know increases the quality tremendously.

the product appears to be ok. I just placed order over the phone. It was an automatied system that if your not carefull they will trick you into ordering stuff you dont want. Im not sure if I ordered 1 set or 2 now. I just wanted 1. no way to check it.. I have to call monday to check.

Mounted it between the latches on the tourpack with the sensor on the lid near the gasket.

Use one of these im my tour pack, just stick on with removeable backing tape (you can take it off and put it back on with no residue), three LEDS and changeable batteries. You do have to tap to turn on, but I think I like it like that so I'm not wasting battery during daytime use. You can get them at Advance Auto for about 6 bucks.

Just a little piece of metal with a sticky back. Works on a magnet, when it gets w/in 1" of the light it shuts it off. There is a link on my first post. I think they will be a big help digging around at night!
where's the magnet, in the gizmo light or the piece of metal. what kind of battery is used? and most impotantly, who did you have around small enough to climb in the bag and validate it is really turning off?????

They lights have LED bulbs and use three little watch type batteries.

No I did not climb in the bags to see, I used that little penguin from my refridgerator that turns the light off.

Seriously, I can see the light turn off just before the lid closes. I think they're worth the money spent.
