Cannot remove Forks... help

Default Cannot remove Forks... help

Ok, So I have followed the Service Manual and "Fix my Hog" dvds to a "T"....

My fork caps are off, tension bolt lossened and removed... and forks still will not come off...

Read 7x forums on here.. and still no help.
Hammered, pryed... tried everything... need ideas.....

Default cannot remove my fork

hi .most of the time .i remove the top triple tree . but you need to remove both. inner . outer fairing.remove top big nut. and use 1 sledge hammer and hit it both side on the tab each side,, fairing tab,,must hit ..up..go up very easy than pull the tube down in twisting or turn it left right .apply some spray on top tube .slide better.try to remember the distance top nut ..tread shaft mrfuji

I took mine off my eglide by only removing the front fairing, the front wheel, fender and calipers, loosen the pinch bolt on the lower tree, and if necessary, tap a straight screwdriver in the slot to open the lower tree....should drop right out...if not retread the cap nuts half way and tap on them..
