Default True Duals causing vibration ?

Just put a set of v&h big shot true duals on my 2000 roadking. Got to say they sound great! I took it for a spin and i noticed the floorboards vibrating more than before. Just wondering if anybody noticed the same thing. Thanx.

Check to ensure that none of the heatshields are touching the frame or rear brake lever. I had a simular issue that was traced to this.

Sounds like you pipe is hitting your board. I had the same problem with my Santee 2-1/4 true duals, I ended up doing the 3/4" board extensions. Cured the problem and was a more comfortable foot position too.

Make sure your mufflers are centered on the rear mount. When I put my Rineharts on my other bike I had the same vibration. I recentered the mufflers and it was gone.

I had to put a spacer on the right board to move it out a small amount. Cured mine.

Did you install the floorboard spacer that is supposed to come in the kit with the pipes. I was told that those spacers should be enough to cure any rubbing that may occur.

I did use the spacers that came with the kit. I will check to see if anything is touching the floorboards or the frame. Thanks guys.
