Corbin Seat question
Hi, I have a Corbin Seat that I recently got new, and have put about 400 miles on it. The leather pattern towards the front of the seat has all but smoothed out. Is this normal?
Thanks,

I think you are having a friction problem, try hanging your ***** off the side.
Just kidding. What do you mean "smoothed out"? It is leather so it will wear and take on a character of its own, and that could mean some of the pattern will wear away. For instance, if you get a wrinkle someplace when you sit on it, the pattern will be gone or reduced in that area. Just sitting on the seat and stretching it will smooth out the pattern, like anything with a wrinkle in it, if you stretch it enough the wrinkle will disappear. The seats all look pretty much the same when fresh from the factory. Those changes are what makes the seat your own special seat, no one else will have one just like it.
400 miles is not much, it could be the pattern was not pressed into the leather deep enough (doubtful but possible). Give them a call and see what they say.

Are you talking about the natural "pattern" in leather? or???? are you talking about a "pattern" that was "worked into" the leather?
