Default Pulled Trigger :-)

I pulled the trigger and called Jamie @ FuelMoto... I ordered the 555's, FM pushrods, and install kit... should get here next week sometime!!!

Can't wait to get the time to put them in!!!

Thanks Jamie!

Another plug for the folks at FM, especially Jamie... fixed a minor problem with my tune on the PowerVision, and as always is great to work with... thanks again

I just put this same set up in last week. Its proubly going to kill my MPG because I cant keep from wanting to twist the throttle!
It runs great and the map he sent me seems spot on too.
Good luck whith the install, its not to bad.
The push rods can be a PITA to get together in the tubes, but adjustment is eazy.

Watch the Fuel Moto video on the push rod installation. They are really very easy to install and adjust. The tool that holds the covers up works really well. Most importantly, they are very high quality. Installed correctly, I don't worry about these becoming out of adjustment or cracking.

The hard part of the pushrod is getting the threaded rod into the bottom part, you have to thread a little down, then adjust the jamb nuts so you can "pull" more from the top, then thread the bottom up, and repeat till its bottomed out in the lower portion of the pushrod.
While it sounds easy, it is a little cumbersome and takes some time.
If you watch the video, it took the "pro" about 8 min. just to get to the adjustment stage!
Once its bottomed out and at zero lash its a piece of cake.

Yeah, and while I'm no pro, I don't think it took me that long. I was able to do a lot of the getting the bottom threaded all the way into the top with my fingertips, not wrenches. My fingers aren't exactly small. I'm 6'1" 290. I didn't time myself. Too busy tipping a beer and enjoying my garage time, but I don't think it really took that long.

The Fuel Moto rods worked well for me.

Well, they're here. I'll put the bike on the table Friday and start the install when my LEDs and stereo components get here...
