Default Installed my Florida Joe LED kit and blew a fuse

I got it all installed today was playing with it and all seems cool. As nighttime came I was leaving my cousins and turned the lights on with the bike off, I turned it to the "white" and was gonna leave it there for the ride home, as soon as I started the bike the 3am fuse from the LED kit blew. I may just jump up to a 5 amp and if it happens again then figure out why.
It is a nice kit and his service is awesome, One of the LED strips, when I peeled the paper backing to expose the stickiness it pulled the sticky stuff off so I need a new one of those. I am going to call him tomorrow and see if he can send me a new strip and I can mount more inside the front fender, but other than that all looks good

I had the same thing happen with my kits from Joe Florida. I kept blowing the fuse too so I scoured the bike looking for a short. I even pulled off some the strips looking for the short. Anyway, I put a 5amp fuse in and it works great now! I have more than one kit though so the 5 amp fuse is needed just to work with the multiple kits.

I had the same thing happen. I bought/installed the largest 207 light kit and then added 3 more light strips. Mine would blow the fuse when the bike was running and would toggle towards the lights turning white. I e-mailed Joe, he recommended switching the fuse to a 5A. No problems since.

It seems like alot of people have problems when adding or changing lights, I think the stock lights are plenty bright. You shoudnt need more than a 3 amp fuse, Led lights draw very little current.
