Default LED Lighting on Bike.

I've read a few threads about people blasting LED lights, but lately I've been riding to my gym early in the morning, and yesterday, someone tried to merge on me and almost ran me off the road . While explaining that their "oops sorry" could cost me my life, then explained even if they had looked, I wasn't very noticeable.

I ordered the Advanced Millions Kit http://www.motorcycleledlights.com/A...ights-8pc.aspx
which I'm thinking should have enough light bouncing off the engine for people to see me in the morning. I kind have jumped into it and purchased without doing a ton of research, so I'm circling back around before I install them.

Has anyone had these or used them? Are the easy to install, fairly concealed, look nice, work well? I thought about these and the lizardleds kit https://www.lizardleds.com/million-c...-wireless.html but there wasn't a ton of information or reviews on these, and the advanced million had some good reviews on Amazon. I'm just wondering if one is thinner than the other, or if there are other light sets I should be looking at.

Easier to speed up or slow down when there is a car in the lane right next to you.

Really easy install. I don't have that kit but something like it. I did just the motor with lights, doing the wheels is just to much for me

That looks great! I can't have red (or blue for my bike) while moving, so I'll have it white while riding.

I know this is what I do. I hate to be beside a car.

You're buying these lights for the wrong reason.

I agree with this. Visibility is not their function. These are show lights. Although they add a glow, they don't make you show up in an idiots mirrors any more than without.

Bright headlights and markers might but the idiots driving next to you are the problem. I agree with above, make sure you don't ride next to someone and you should be fine. Loud pipes help too.

How do I delete a thread? This has been more than useless. I know how to keep myself out of blind spots, and don't just cruise next cars unless I'm passing, which was the case. I didn't ask how to ride my motorcycle, I asked if anyone had experience with the light kit I bought, or if anyone had an opinion on a better kit.

From your post it doesn't sound like it.

Well, this is how things work on forums like this. You expressed a problem with a driver not seeing you and expressed a desire to fix this problem with a solution that most don't see is a proper fix for the problem. The fix for the problem is to keep out of other drivers' blind spots. When you've got merging traffic don't wait for the other guy to see you. Slow down, speed up, change lanes,... whatever works for the situation to keep out of his way. Adding some LEDs to your ride won't make the blind see.
