Default Chrome front caliper
Looking to put a chrome front caliper on the bike. Any suggestions , comments or issues to avoid?

Most calipers are two piece & chrome plaiting can cause leaks. Be sure your the person doing the plaiting can make 'em work.............

Thanks Jinks, are you aware of any specific products, HD does offer the Brembos in Chrome, $830.00 for the set, I run a single rotor will have to see If they offer just the left side. There is a guy who is selling on EBay for $279.00 with a core charge.

I bought mine off ebay. They were fresh chrome and already assembled with all new stuff. I didn't have a core charge but damn if I can remember how much I paid. It wasnt more than $220. They have never leaked and I've never had a problem with them. I've got about 4k miles on them now.

When I had custom wheels and chrome forks installed at dealer they asked if I wanted the caliper chromed. A top notch plating shop they used charged me $150 and the dealer charge was minimal as they were doing the other work anyway. The single front caliper on the Heritage looks sweet and was much cheaper than the PM caliper I really wanted but just couldn't pop for.
