I feel your pain!

Last weekend I took the removeable tourpack off & set it down to close the garage door behind me. Stupid thing tipped over and the concrete scratched the bottom edge. "Perfect" paintjob now has its first flaw. I fumed about it all weekend (mostly my stupidity), but not much can be done. I bought the bike to use.

My fiance (bless her heart) knew how upset I was and immediately said "it's ok, we'll fix it!". I'm not going to, but you gotta love that in a woman, especially one who doesn't really like motorcycles in the first place!

 

Now look: if that woman rolled her eyes you may need to replace her.
However, DO NOT use 0000 steel wool. That won't solve anything.
