Default Road king help!!!!!!

I have an 05 RK custom, was installing some LED turn signals that are integrated into the mirror stems and blew the "lights" fuse. Now the odometer and speedo have no lights, and the fuel pump noise does not come on or any of the other start-up lights, I can however turn the ign. on and get lights, blinkers etc..... but push start and get nothing, dead..... please help, all fuses appear to be fine now that I replaced the lights one.

Just a guess, but it sounds like your kill switch is open. Maybe a damaged wire lurking in the bars...

Any way to verify or check for this? Is it possible to fry a kill switch wire when messing with the blinker wires?

Open up the kill switch side switch housing, and then turn on the ignition , and see if the fuel pump runs with the kill switch on.
You then have found out if it is a pinched wire.

My sceptisism is due to the fact that I have not removed the switch housing, or even loosened it up, in fact was working on the clutch side when this all went down, installed the throttle side the other day, and with one LED, and one OEM blinker, they worked, but when installing the clutch side, I got a small spark, and blew out the "lights" fuse. The other thing that makes me question the wire being the issue is that doesn't the odometer generally turn on, and the speedo light up when the ignition is turned on, not when the run/kill switch is activated? Try not to take any of this the wrong way, I respect the advice and appreciate it, I'm just trying to make sure we cover all the bases before I dive in and chase down something that might not be the issue had we just talked it out a bit further.

Any other input? I'll open up the switch housing tonight and see if it works, but right now, hoping anyone else has any insight?

Has got to be one of your fuses... when I was messing around with wiring, there was a wire up in my headlight nacelle that sparked against something.. when it did this I lost my speedometer lights just like you are mentioning.. I found a blown fuse.. tracked down the wire and made sure it was capped off, then found a couple of blown fuses (one of them being the lights).. replaced them and all was well again.. so just go through your fuses again and check EACH one... yank it out, visually make sure it looks ok, put an ohm meter on it to make sure you have connectivity..

I vote fuses. It is possible to have a bad new one too. They can have the smallest hairline crack in them. Definitely check each one thoroughly.

check for continuity on your fuses with a multi-meter.
