Default Am I crazy..??

I currently have a 2010 FLTRX..96" non-ABS. I have done a lot of work to it but I am still looking to extend the bags 21" front wheel..etc. I have always liked the looks of the Road king..even owned one for a while. So I got to thinking maybe I could sell me RGC and get a 10-up FLHP with a 103/ABS and start at a lower price point and do all the things I plan to do to my RGC..Is that just crazy thinkin?

If you can make the numbers work for you, and run them honestly...

the cop bikes are a great base for a custom.

I really think that the 21" taildragger look is soon gonna be past the "best by date".

lets see.... ummmmmm
the grass is always greener?
you always want what you don't have?

i feel you though....i "looked" at the SG for almost a year before i got around to buying one....the whole time i was "looking" i would always stare at the Road Glide when i was at the dealer...still to this day every time i am in a dealer i will sit on a Road Glide.... even though i am really happy my SG...just started doing some mods (bars, cables, inner fairing)and yes i was running though my head...do i wanna put this money into my SG...or should i make the jump to RG now before i "invest"?

i also can relate to your Cop Bike itch too..... the thought runs through my head also..its just such an ideal platform to build a custom bike...
i have actually thought about doing one with the FBI 3" seat drop kit.... i think that would be SWEET!!!!!!!

ANyway good luck with your internal wrestling match......

Yep, you're crazy...

Then again, if you're bike is stock mostly, then trade it in, cause it's doubtful that you will be able to sell it and get what you need for it.

So, my guess will be that you will have to trade it in, and "eat it" some what $ wise, or "lay in your bed cause you made it".

But hey, if $$$ is not a real big deal, go for it..

I would like to have ABS brakes too, but I don't, but I am not trading in my 09 that that looks as good as any CVO(almost) and runs probably as good if not better, but then again, that's me. I've made it this far w/out them and personally I think that they're the best brakes HD has ever had, bar none.

Your call.

The Road King looks great and would love to have those wheels but I think you are loco. I want a RG so bad I can't stand it but it will be a second bike added as I ain't letting go of the King. Just have to hope the money someday gets right.
