Default Review of LRS Hawgwings

After reading a recent thread regarding Streetglide buffeting I was going to try the HD brand adjustable air deflectors many had stated the Hawgwings work better, so I gave them a shot.

First off the second day I had my 2012 Streetglide I purchased a 9 inch LRS recurve windshield. I couldn't be happier with it took care of 50 percent of the buffeting. Last night I installed the Hawgwings, took it for my normal ride to work today 20 miles mostly interstate. Under 40 mph 60 percent of the buffeting is gone almost non existent. At highway speeds up to 75 mph I would say honestly 25-30 percent better still some but much less.

As far as looks my bike is Vived Black and both the shield and wings are dark tint, kinda blends in no issues with the looks. I highly recommend LRS products fast shipping and very reasonable on the price.

Just tried to order with the HDFORUMS40 code that expires on 5/19. The update order says the code has expired? My calendar says it's 5/18 here in Wisconsin, are you guys a day ahead of me?

I received mine last week, installed them and have tried them out now for a while and yes they work, my only ask would be that they ship with black screws instead of the stainless. The 6 shiny silver screws (3 on each side) stick out like a sore thumb.

I went out to the hardware store last night and picked up some black thumb screws but of course they didn't have any black washers. Need to find some of those as these shiny silver screws and washers are bugging the hell out of me.
