I'm finally at a point where I'm able to start seriously looking at a touring bike, and I know the 09's and up have the newer frame with improved motor mounts and 2012 have the 103.

Any other differences, pro or con from 09-12 that I should take into consideration??

Will be looking mostly at Road King although I will be considering other models as well.

 

each year the model changes are given to Dealers in a .pdf form.

if you google:

then do 2010,2011,2012 you can follow the changes

'09 has a center taillight, and a 17" front wheel. '10 and up no center taillight and 18" front wheel. '10 only has single muffler. That's pretty much it except the 103

If you are focusing on Road Kings, one other change is that the 2011 Road King Classic has the 103, ABS and security standard. The 2011 Road King does not.
