Default Touring model change 09 or 10 ?

What year did the touring blikes get the beefier frame and bigger rear tire? 09 or 10. Looking to upgrade my o7 FLHTC.

for each year of interest.

This will give you the .pdf provided to dealers at the model intro

2009, but you know what they say about getting the first model year. I would go for a 2010 if you can. Although keeping the 2007 might be an idea to, I didn't any issues with my 2005 and have had several issues with the 2009. The bigger engine, frame, rear tire and 6 speed is nice though.

Frame and tire change on the touring line was in 09. In 12 they went from the 96 to the 103 engine, added a factory oil cooler, plus a couple of other things.

My 2011 came stock with a 103 and oil cooler. Delivered to me late April 2011

The 103 which includes factory automatic compression releases was optional in 2011. Called the power pack, it included the bigger engine, oil cooler, abs and cruise control. This engine was standard on 12 and later.

Also, all 2011 and later touring bikes got the screamin eagle compensator.
