Hi ive got a problem with my 2008 electraglide screaming eagle 110 every now and then when started from cold it tickes over at 2500 rpm even when warmed up if i turn off ignition then restart it ticks over ok any idea ?

 

I know there was an issue with the IAC (Idle Air Control Valve) on the '07's. I'm not certain if that carried into the '08's though. I've got a buddy with the same issue on his '07. Spraying carb cleaner into the hole a few times to clean it up has helped so far.

 

idle air control Valve , most likely , you can unplug that thing and start the bike , if it do same thing . that is your problem . that how i tested mine . its not that expensive , and easy to replace
