Default Ohlins - Finally Pulled the Trigger

I finally got tired of dealing with, experimenting and spending money on air shocks for my Ultra so on Wednesday I called Howard and ordered a set of #3 - #3 Ohlins.

Hopefully by next weekend they will be on and the air ride gone. I'll have a couple pair of Harley air shocks if anyone is interested...

Add those to the LRS which should be here today and we should be ready for our 2 long (>2000 miles each) road trips planned for end of August and middle of October!

P.S. - Both Howard and the people at LRS are great to deal with!

Just did the Ohlins 2-2b on my ultra, recently did a 5 day trip through the national parks in Utah, 2 up loaded. The ride was unbelievable compared to stock shocks, the wife loves the difference as well. We never bottomed out and never launched off the seat like we did with the stock shocks. It handles like its riding on a rail in the twisties. It was a simple adjustment for 2 up riding to the preload spring and off we went. I wished I had done this years ago. Enjoy.

Thanks guys, I already have monotubes out front so I hope this puts the Ultra suspension where Harley should have it from the factory!

Enjoy, the Ohlins are the best mod I've ever done to any bike.
