Need opinions on the Bassani 4 inch slip ons to be put on a 2002 RK. Ilove the look of the scallop cut but wonder if it will take away from the classic style of the bike ?

I had the "flipped" scalloped mufflers (longer on bottom) on my pewter denim StreetGlide. Thought they looked KILLER on that bike...but I did not think much of the exhaust tone from them. I agree with you though that they may look out of place on your RoadKing. I currently ride a custom built Softail and an Ultra Classic which I put ThunderHeader slip-ons on and these mufflers suit the bike in my opinion. They look close to stock, sorta, about the same dimensions, and sound AWESOME! On stock head pipes, they are not overly loud, but sound deep and impressive. Great sound when you roll on or off the throttle.
