I installed mine a few weeks ago. Not a hard job of you have a jack. Bought them for 270 shipped. Great improvement over stock. Would do it again all over. Saving up for some olhins now.
I would LOVE to hear how they compare, as would everyone in this forum I'm sure. Are you doing the mod on the ricors?
No I'm not doing the ricor mod, but I will post up a comparision. I do find it hard to believe that they (Ricors) could perform any better that the Monotubes.
How difficult is it to install the monotube? I have lowered my SG with shorter rear shocks, and have been curious if a lowered front end would be worthwhile. Better handling would be a bonus!
Any one know the difference between the Progressive mono tubes and the progressive drop springs besides around $200? I was going to do the drop springs because I'm usually just above broke, and going to powder coat the tubes very soon, but I don't want to miss out on something and I'm not super-crazy about that brake dive. If it matters, I have the rear air-ride suspension thats not super-smooth anyway.
Installed the 1" lower monotubes on my 2012 CVO SG and can't believe the difference. Bike feels tighter, bumps are less of an issue and brake dive is all gone. Hope to get the Ohlins next week that I ordered from Howard to complete the suspension work.

My mechanic said don't bother with them unless all you are concerned about is lowering the bike. The drop-ins will not improve the handling like the monotubes.
I did the drop in springs on my 2012 RGU. Big improvement noticed over stock. Stayed with the 5wt oil, per progressive recommendations. Very happy with the results
