My wife and I are heading to Kentucky in a few weeks. I was wondering what the must see sites are if anybody could tell us.

I've also been thinking of going to Kentucky just to get some chicken at the original Kentucky Fried Chicken in Corbin. That is the only thing I know about Kentucky. Good excuse for a ride at least. Below is a link. Have a safe trip.

Maybe the corvette factory tour, or the Mazak Cnc machine plant and tour. That place is a site to behold, amazing technology in that place!

Along with the rest of the Kentucky Bourbon Trail. Be sure to visit all the distilleries so you get the T-shirt. There was a thread on it here recently.

Louisville Slugger Museum and the General George Patton Museum at Ft Knox are both pretty cool. Churchill Downs I enjoyed more than I thought I would.

Guys, I'm from Ky and glad to make suggestions. Let me know or PM me what part of the state you are planning to visit. All suggestions above are great. The first rule, as it is in any city, get off the highways and hit the back roads. Lexington is loaded with thousands of horse farms. Louisville has the slugger museum (if you like pizza, Luigis next door is a must) and the Muhamed Ali Museum. If you are headed here anytime soon, I-65 bridge to/from Indianna is a friggin mess. Take the bypass to 64 and you will be happy. Again, let me know where your headed and I will be glad to help.
