Default Pegs install

Am I missing something? Bought a set of HD Streamliner pegs to be used as highway pegs on my 2010 SG. I wanted to rotate the pegs to a better position. Can it be that the bolt that runs inside the pegs is a Metric hex? I couldn't find an SAE hex wrench that would fit. I don't have any Metric hex wrenches to try. Instruction sheet on HD parts site describes it as "Screw, hex socket head cap".

The bolt that goes thru the peg, from the end, is 1/4" SAE. At least on mine it is.

Should be the same as your passenger pegs.

Did you buy used? Maybe someone stripped the head?

I did buy them used so they must have been changed. The HD stock pegs come with a 1/4" hex screw. 1/4" SAE works perfect on my stock passenger pegs but it's too big for the ones I bought. And 7/32" SAE is too small. Someone must have replaced with a Metric. I don't have a set of Metric hex wrenches but I will at least have one tomorrow when I go to the hardware store.
