Default installing xieds?

Hi all got a 2012 ultra and just ordered some xieds for it. I've seen them installed in different spots on the bike and was wondering where they go on this one? Is it right behind the right plastic cover? I know there's a ground wire i got to hook up. Probably be to the negative post on the battery. Thanks for your help!

XIEDS has worked very well for me, 4" Rineharts and Heavy Breather.

Grounded mine to the battery and slipped them right on. One of the easiest things I've done on the bike

What did it do to your gas mileage?

I didn't really see a big difference in my mileage. From what I understand, the Xied's only increase the fuel intake by 3-5%.

The XIEDs add about 8% in the closed loop portion of fueling. Overall 5% seems reasonable. I have 02 IEDs and see about a 4% drop in mileage. The bike pulls stronger i
in the closed loop range so you can go into a higher gear and save some gas. There is an increase in fuel in open loop as well, due to the adaptive fueling tables in the ECU.

When I had mine I grounded right to the battery; no problems.
