Default floating rotors

Howdy,
I recently put a pair of H-D floating rotors on my '09 Ultra. After putting on 500 miles on them the front pads still drag when trying to push the bike around. Anyone else experience this?
Thanks,
Craig

Mine drag slightly, but not enough to notice unless it's jacked up.
What I'm still getting used to is the clicking noise the floaters make every once in a while when applying the brakes.

That depends what you mean by drag. Hearing the pads slightly skim the surface of the rotor when you push the bike is not unusal. Really dragging is not right. The piston seals are designed cause the piston to slightly retract when the brake is released.

If you have what you consider more drag then normal, make sure that the front master cylinder is not overfilled with brake fluid. If it is, the pistons may not retract normally and your pads will continue to be pressured toward the rotors. Use an old syringe body to remove some of the fluid...but only after you have laid shop towels over any painted surface that might possibly receive some splatter if you shake the handlebars during this procedure. DOT 4 fluid is bad for your paint.
