For those who have slid there tour pack back for more passenger room, did you have enough CB antenna wire or did you have to re route it across the metal plate of the tour pack. I just installed a Kuryakan adjustable tour pack relocator and my CB antenna cable will not allow me to slide it back it about ž of an inch. 2012 RGU
I used the George Anderson Relocator and had no problems. I moved it back an inch and a half. If I'd have went back 2 1/2" I would have had to do some cable re-routing. I love the GA Relocator.
I have the Kuryakyn Quick Adjust Tour-Pak Relocator it slides forward 2 inch and back 4+ inch I can't slide it all the way back about 4 inch is all I can go before the wires run out of slack but I only have it back about 2 inch with it back any more and the tour pack loaded and the trunk bag on it throws the balance of the bike off a lot, but I don't need more than 2 inch and there is plenty of room. I'm 6' 245lbs and the wife is 5'4" 170lbs (please don't tell her I sais that)
Where can I get one of these G.A.relocators? Thanks
There is one for sale in a previous post. For a new one just call George Anderson himself and he will ship it to you. He is a good guy and it is quality work that he does. I think it was $185. I don't have his number any more but you should be able to search for his name on this site and get it.
Anybody still have a set of directions on how to install the locator they could post up or send me? Got a good deal on one used but no directions and want to make sure I do it right.
