I have a set of the flush mount cap and gauge installed on my 09 RK they have been installed for about 3 years with no issue. The other day I went to the gas station to fill up and the gas cap would not pop up. Sat there and kept working on it and had to pry it up. Once off I notice that it's binding as if the plastic has swelled up. I am thinking this is an ethanol related issue anyone else have this happen.

 

I have the flush caps on my bike and this past weekend I had a little difficulty getting the gas cap to pop up.

I thought it was just a quirk, maybe I need to have a closer look it.

 

Something is going on I called the dealership and a service said it may be the ethanol or gas causing it to swell and stick
