Turtle Wax
LOL. That was good.
Every paint job needs looked at on an individual basis. First, you will want to wash. Next, you will clay bar (if needed). Our bikes aren't like cars with large roofs or hoods to catch a lot of "fallout". After that, you have to determine how bad the swirling or hazing is. Therefore, some type of cleaner (or cutting agent) needs to be used to level or smooth out the scratches or swirls. Then, you need to get rid of residual cleaning marks with a good polish. Then, finally you can top off with your choice of a pure carnauba wax. Doing anything short of this will produce lousy results to a "trained" eye. The layman will think it looks great and that is fine too. In between waxings and after a wash any type of "quick detailer" is good to use.

I discovered Black Box a couple years ago after using professional products and dual action buffer with great results. Maybe the results aren't quite as good, but the shine is outstanding and long lasting. I mean black really pops. And I'm not spending half a day on the project, I'm out riding.
It won't hide bad scratches, but most swirls are hidden and the wax is hard as a diamond, long lasting, and dirt and dust don't stick to it. Excellent product for black bikes.

Hell, nothing lasts very long. The best sex you've ever had didn't last very long but that didn't make it not worth doing.
I've used the black box on my 13 year old black paint on my mustang. It made the paint look like it was inches thick, all the swirl marks that have been there for years are gone. I'm really happy with it. It's a must have for shiny black paint
+1 on THE BLACK BOX from Turtle Wax no matter what anyone says. I used it for over a year on my black Road Glide. I no longer own that bike so I gave all my wax to my buddy and he loves the stuff.
Plus . . . You get everything in a kit for only $20.
Even if it's half as good as I say, it's worth a try at that price, right?
Last thing . . . If you own a black HD you know how hard it is to keep it looking nice. All my troubles stopped when I found this stuff. Believe me??? Try it for yourself and let us all know.
